Handwoven Cotton Scarf

These beautiful cotton scarves are handwoven in the traditional manner, on "people powered" weaving looms, in the Chiang Mai district, northern Thailand.

We call them "scarves", but there are many different uses for these beauties. Some people use them as home decor, such as furniture covers, and table runners. They are available in a wide range of colors, from sultry, cool shades and hues, to the tangy and spicy hot flavors. Because they are handwoven, by a lot of different ladies, the sizes vary from piece to piece. The average width is from 18" to 20", and the length from 60" to 70".
